Brenda began her career in insurance in September, 1980 as a CSR in the personal lines division of a local retail agency. In 1987 she made the switch to the large unit commercial division as a TA with Corroon (now known as Willis Grp). From there she accepted a commercial underwriting position with a small P&C carrier in 1988. In 1992 she accepted a commercial underwriting manager position at Classic USA where she wrote and managed a large book of Texas habitational GL with Classic Syndicate. In 1995 she helped the owner, John Seward, launch a new wholesale agency (Business Risk Services of IN, Inc.) specialized in writing workers' compensation coverage) and served as a key insurance producer and Executive VP where she was employed for 25 years until the owner's retirement when she then launched Comp Time Plus, Inc. in 2020.
